Leave the kids at home

Having a +1 arriving doesn’t mean that you cannot travel together anymore. Maybe going away for two weeks in the first years is pushing it a bit, but there are so many short breaks you can make with your loved one! After you have settled as a family, and daily life has taken over again, you will find that your attention has shifted from your partner to your baby. It’s important to stay connected as a couple too, and have not only dedicated date nights but throw that tent in the car or jump in the plane for a ‘Dirty Weekend’ together.
